Our expertise in soil stabilization and earth retention systems makes us a trusted partner for a wide range of projects, from residential developments to large-scale infrastructure.

Versatile Applications

Slope Stabilization

Effectively stabilize slopes and prevent landslides, ensuring the safety of surrounding structures and landscapes.

Excavation Support

Provide reliable support for temporary or permanent excavations, allowing for safe and efficient construction.

Retaining Wall Repair

Reinforce and repair existing retaining walls, extending their lifespan and maintaining structural integrity.

Infrastructure

Ideal for bridges, roadways, and other critical infrastructure, providing long-lasting stability.

Advanced Techniques for Tieback and Soil Nail Anchors

Our soil nailing technique involves the installation of grouted, tension-resisting steel bars (nails) into the soil to create a reinforced gravity retaining wall.

Typical Project Stages:

Excavation: Soil is excavated in stages, usually three to six feet deep, from the top down.

Drilling: Near-horizontal holes are drilled into the exposed soil face at three to six-foot intervals.

Insertion: Tension-resisting steel bars are inserted into the drilled holes and grouted in place.

Drainage: A drainage system is installed on the exposed face to manage water flow and prevent erosion.

Facing: Reinforced shotcrete or precast face panels are applied to the exposed face for additional stability.

Repetition: The process is repeated until the design wall depth is achieved, creating a zone of reinforced ground.

The Tieback Process

Tiebacks are installed by drilling holes into a stable, supportive layer of soil or rock behind the structure being stabilized. Steel tendons or anchors are then inserted into these holes and grouted in place. Once the grout has cured, the anchors are tensioned to provide immediate support to the structure.

Key Benefits

Restricted Access

Our equipment is designed to operate in areas with limited access, making it ideal for urban environments and confined spaces.

Cost-Effective

Soil nailing and tieback systems are often more affordable and quicker to install compared to traditional methods.

Versatile Installation

Can be installed from crane-suspended platforms, allowing work on steep slopes and difficult-to-access areas.

Concurrent Operations

Allows excavation and shoring to occur simultaneously, speeding up project timelines.
