Project Manager Estimator

Job Purpose

The construction Project Manager will bid, plan, and oversee Tri-State’s projects, providing timely reporting to the senior management team.  The budgeting, scheduling, organization, and implementation of assigned projects will be conducted by the Project Manager.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Promoting safe work sites
  • Business development
  • Prepare and submit bids
  • Conduct preconstruction meetings with internal team
  • Prepare submittals
  • Project budgeting and cost control
  • Forecasting reports to senior management
  • Project documentation and scope of work management
  • Coordination of subcontractors
  • Read and understand contracts and project drawings
  • Project invoice approvals
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s Degree in construction management, engineering, business management or related field experience
  • Leadership and human resources management skills
  • Time management skills
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Competent in conflict resolution
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong team work ethic
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365


Working Conditions

  • Regular travel is required.
  • Both in office and on jobsite working environment
  • Work in all types of weather


Physical requirements

  • Must be able to navigate rugged terrain
