The Project Engineer will work with the Project Management team to ensure projects are built from start to finish with the highest safety, quality, and production in the industry.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Promote safe work sites
  • Support project budgeting and cost controls
  • Review submittals and provide project documentation
  • Work with field management to provide schedules and daily work plans
  • Conduct, and participate in project meetings
  • Assist in the selection and coordination of vendors and subcontractors
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business Management
  • Related field experience a plus
  • Time management skills
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Detailed documentation skills
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work as a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
  • Demonstrated ability to work with coworkers from diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Ability to work with Tri-State Drilling to create an inclusive environment where all are welcomed

Working Conditions

  • Regular travel is required
  • Jobsite and office trailer working environment
  • Work in all types of weather

Physical requirements

  • Must be able to navigate rugged terrain
